Authors of this book : Jürg Wyss, Marc Hösli, Jean-Claude Piguet with the contribution of Etienne Blyelle.
Dr Jürg Wyss has a real passion in mechanic and history and is interested in the manufacturing of music boxes. He collected manufacturers’secrets as weel as the machines and the tools they used and doomed to disappear. He created a workshop showing the handcrafted and industrial heritage of music boxes. This workshop can now be seen in the Museum of Sciences and Arts of Sainte-Croix. This booklet has been made with the contribution of Etienne Blyelle and with Claudine Glauser’s wonderful pictures.
